CodeCleaner is a macOS utility designed to help developers reclaim disk space by scanning and removing build caches, temporary files, and other developer artifacts. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about how we handle your data.

CodeCleaner is designed with a privacy-first approach. The app operates entirely on your local machine and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not access, upload, or share any files from your computer.
• We do not use cookies, analytics, or any third-party tracking services within the app.

Local Processing Only

All scanning and cleaning operations are performed locally on your Mac. CodeCleaner reads your file system to identify developer caches, build artifacts, and temporary files. This data never leaves your device. No network requests are made by the app during scanning or cleaning operations.

File System Access

CodeCleaner requires access to certain directories on your Mac to scan for developer caches and build artifacts (such as Xcode DerivedData, node_modules, Docker images, and similar). The app only accesses directories relevant to its functionality and does not read or modify personal documents, photos, or other non-developer files.

Third-Party Services

CodeCleaner does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. If you download CodeCleaner through the Mac App Store, Apple's own privacy policies and data handling practices apply to the download and purchase process.

Data Security

Since CodeCleaner does not collect or transmit any data, there is no risk of your personal information being exposed through our app. All operations are sandboxed within the macOS security model.

Children's Privacy

CodeCleaner does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is a developer utility tool and does not target children.
